Dubai City Attractions
What's there to see and do in town?
Dubai is filled with world-class
accommodations, amazing shopping and the finest dining imaginable. However, what is there to do in the
area? You'll find a wide array of Dubai attractions, from natural
wonders to manmade sights. To make the most of your trip, you'll need to know where to go. How do you find the best
attractions in the area?
Here are a few of the top choices for having fun in Dubai, both outdoors and
indoors.

Dubai Beaches
Dubai is located on the Arabian Sea
and features hundreds of miles of amazing beaches. However, the very best Dubai beaches are located just off of
Jumeria Road. Be warned, though; many of the beaches in the area are privately owned by hotels and resorts. You'll
find public access beaches tucked in between, though. You can access private beaches for a fee, though. This allows
you the widest range of options. Al Mamzar Park features a great public beach that costs nothing to
visit.

Gold Shopping
Dubai is
home to many things, including some of the most fantastic jewelry in the world. A number of the world's top diamond
cutters have relocated to the area, as well. If you want gold and diamond shopping, head over to the Covered Gold
Souk in Deira. You'll find international pieces in a variety of themes, from Italian to Indian and much more.
Dubai's malls also offer great jewelry shopping, though you can expect to pay mall prices, as well. The Sharajah
Blue Souk is a well-kept local secret; you can find more incredible jewelry there.
But there's more to Dubai attractions than gold and jewelry shopping.
Dubai also offers many attractions for outdoor lovers.

Golfing Fun
While you might not expect to find
fairways in the heart of the desert, Dubai has accomplished even more incredible marvels. You'll find 2
championship golf courses in the area. The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club and the Emirates Golf Club both offer
fantastic golfing in the warm sunshine. The Emirates Golf Club is the home of the European PGA Desert Classic and
was the first grass golf course in the Middle East.

The Desert
While the opulence and beauty of
Dubai may captivate you, the desert lies just outside the protective circle of buildings. You'll find austere
beauty in the shifting sands, as well as numerous ways to enjoy the desert. Enjoy a Bedouin camp, complete with
traditional camels. Take a 4-wheeler into the dunes and enjoy the freedom and feel of wind on your face. Even
falconry is available for the adventurous traveler.

attractions. Read our other articles on Dubai to explore many more possibilities for fun in Dubai.
