The above works well if you've found a locale that you'd be happy to return to again and again, but if you're the kind of traveler who doesn’t want to be bothered trading in your weeks you might want to purchase a less traditional vacation club membership. Vacation clubs work much like traditional timeshares in that they'll allow you a certain amount of time every year or every other year, but differ because rather than assign you to a specific resort, they'll make you privy to hundreds of resorts with a network.
